Is it even possible to get “sensor smudge” on an iPhone? Yesterday I got something that looks like a smudge, tried cleaning the lens but it didn’t help. Any idea what might be causing this?

Time to close the lid on my laptop and leave office. The weekend will be quite busy with three days of jutsu and, I assume, a lot of camera usage. I would really like to have a couple of days off now … the last three weeks have been too busy.
Sigh, I’m really interested in a new Mac mini but the price was too high for me. I need something more than the basic configuration since I want it to be my photo station. So I’ll stick with my old 2013? Mac mini for a while longer. Severely tempted to put together a linux machine for this but I haven’t found any decent software that runs on linux.
I visited a local PhotoExpo yesterday, looked at some gear - trying to figure out if I should buy a wide, wide angle lens, something like a 16mm. I’ve never been interested in them until this summer when I wished I had one.
The most interesting part was talks from people like AstroFotografen and PictPro. I always get inspired and want to really start learning about photography.
Interesting drive home yesterday. Fairly heavy snow fall, first real snow for the season, that sometimes limited visibility to 30-50 meters - so it took a bit longer than expected to drive home. But it was better than a couple of years ago when I literally couldn’t see the end of hood … it was kind of scary to drive that evening.
